As Vinyasa Yoga teachers, we have agreed to serve the community with a non-lineage of yoga, an approach that empowers students to move and explore in a variety of ways so that we encourage freedom in body, mind and heart.  With freedom comes responsibility.  We, the teachers, have the responsibility to be ROOTED in who we are, what we offer and why we share the things we do.

In this module, you will:

  • Explore the Origins of Yoga and the roots of Vinyasa Yoga

  • Read and reflect on Yoga’s authoritative texts, the Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras

  • Apply Yoga’s rich philosophical foundation to your practice, teaching and life

  • Revisit your foundation of asana studies through a new lens

  • Refine and illuminate your understandings of physical anatomy

  • Dive into energetic anatomy on a deeper level

  • Practice teaching with your newly acquired knowledge and receive one-on-one mentoring

  • Get clear on who you are right now as a teacher (and human being) and unearth your Sankalpa to accelerate your forward

ROOTED can be taken independently or as a part of your YA 300HR certification.  With our unique curriculum and pay per module pricing, modules can be taken in any order.

  • $550 Early Bird (paid in full by September 23, 2017)

Our hands imbibe like roots, so I place them on what is beautiful in this world. And I fold them in prayer, and they draw from the heavens light.
